Let's plant rice!
What you can learn from this activity: Help understand relations among rice, bugs and human-beings.
When and where to do: Around June at rice field.
Materials and preparations: Boots, socks or shose that can become dirty, clothes to change, towel, rain coat, inscet net, insect holding basket, pencil, magnifying lens, leaflet, questionnaire, unhulled rice
Procedure: 1. Quiz, 2. Let's play in the pond-like rice field!, 3. Look at how planting machine works, 4. Do a close observation of young rice before planting, 5. Let's plant rice with your hands!

Wow! The rice field has become a pond. Let's ask about what happen to the rice field where we found lots of Renge flowers!
No wonder! Here is a valve of water. Let's get into the muddy field! How do you feel?
Wait, wait! I'm coming,too. How fast can you walk?
I found a frog! Look at how the machine plants rice.
Can you see how the rice plant grows? Do you want to try unhull rice? You can taste it.
Now, you plant rice yourself like this.
You take three plants. With your fingers and thumb, you can do it!
Now, you all are already experts.
